Photos are memories captured in the now, preserved for the later. I remember places in particular colours & feelings. These curated images are a visual representation of my memories from Beijing, China. A traveller’s memories of the the old street, narrow hutongs, vibrant colours around the Forbidden City and the magnificent Forbidden City itself in 2019.
Immersed in the feelings, colour, and senses experienced.

- It is the largest Palace complex in the world (and best preserved).

- There are still areas that are forbidden to enter.

And I always wondered about Peking and Beijing. In English Beijing used to be called Peking, the change came when the Pinyin method came in 1979 to convey Mandarin to Roman alphabet.
